Long Time No Stamp.

I'm starved for title inspiration, is it obvious?

Recently added another Catrice polish to my collection, which stood out to me both for it's silly, pun-riddled name '46 Berry Potter & Plumbledore', and its interesting turquoise shimmer.

First I sponged it over '200 From Dusk to Dawn', but the difference in purples wasn't as big as I thought it would be, resulting in mostly a shimmery tip.

Using YSL '141 - White Gold', I wanted to add some details.. but really, none of it turned out the way I had planned it in my head.

I had only meant to stamp one nail per hand, but because the silver stripes didn't turn out as crisp as I wanted them (curse you, tape!) I stamped all my nails to try and cover it up a little.
I used a full-nail stamp from a BM21 plate, buuuut.. my nails are too long. I stubbornly tried it anyway and had to try and fill in the excess space with more stamping and it's all just a bit messy.
Despite it being a far cry from what I had originally wanted to do, I don't seem to dislike it, either.

Black & Blue.

Another half-rhombus. By now a cliché trademark choice.
I needed a new black since my older ones are getting droopy and no longer as easy to restore with a drop or two of nail polish thinner. Wanted to combine a light colour and that black in something easy.

Catrice, '39 Black to the Routes' & Rimmel, '198 Azure'.

#Feel Like Sky is the Limit

It was my birthday on the 6th, and one of my friends gave me this bottle of colour changing nail polish from Casuelle. I've got some Casuelle eyeshadow but I've never used any of the brand's nail polish. Nor did I know they had any ... but moving on.
It's labelled "#Feel Like Sky is the Limit" but despite the hashtag is given no number. The name also seems somehow.. off to me. 'Feel Like the Sky is the Limit' would've fit too, bottle design folks.

The sticker tries to pass it off as a white that fades to a dark gray, but there's really no two ways about it - this thing is green.
All the better though, because that is my colour.

A dual 'foresty' green when exposed to room temperature and body heat, but it's quite army green when it's colder.
At present, I'm not really sure about it, though I do like it. The formula is kind of jelly and because of that it's rather sheer. You sort of lose the gradient feel because it's all so light. The other colours in the collection have a pretty strong contrast, but the colours aren't really to my taste.

I think if I wear it again the future, I'll try layering it over a thin coat of Catrice's 'It's Rambo No. 5' to establish colour, but not so much that the colour changing effect suffers under it.

Ground Control to Major Tom.

I'd been wanting to try out a W7 polish for a while now, but I hadn't really made a point to look through the collection offered at the shop I found them at until now. When I add something to my collection these days I do try to make sure it's not too close to something I already own and I felt this polish matched that criteria.
It goes by the name of  '125 Twilight' and because of the obvious link I almost grabbed another similar looking polish from the same rack, because I'm almost that petty I suppose.
I don't recall the name of the other one, but it had a bigger shimmer and was thus more glittery than Twilight, which made me come back to my original choice.

Because the colour is so reminiscent of space, I wanted to model it with my little lunar Command/Service Module.

Though I'm love, love, loving the galaxy blurple thing going on, the formula was a little disappointing.
It does that thing where your second coat of polish seems to sort of push the first one away and it leaves you with an uneven covering of the nail. It meant the first two coats had to dry completely before I was able to apply a third coat (which it really needed to even it out).
Personally, I'm not too bothered by a third or even fourth coat but I know for a lot of people it is a turn off so it's always worth mentioning.

Shiny, sparkle, shimmer, space~
